The office is directly part of the structure of the university and operates under the direction of the rector.
The duties of the office include the following tasks:
- Registration, reproduction, transfer, storage of organizational orders related to the activities of the university;
- Registration of official correspondence, information documents, letters and correspondence for the administration of universities (rectors and vice-rectors), mailing to relevant departments, sending responses to addressees;
- Provision of the necessary copies of documents upon request, as well as, if necessary, familiarization with overdue documents on the basis of certificates.
- The archive operates under the direction of the university in accordance with approved orders, resolutions and other legislative acts. The archive is managed by the director by order of the rector. The archive includes the director of the archive, the archivist and the staff in accordance with the approved state staffing table. The position of the archive director is based on job descriptions approved by the rector.
The main tasks of the archive are:
- Preparation of documents for acceptance, accounting, sorting, use and storage in the state archives of the university.
- Provision of a sequence of funds for meetings and documents accepted for safekeeping;
- Organization of examination to determine the scientific and practical value of documents stored in the archive, providing methodological assistance in conducting an examination of the value of documents in the process of processing;
- preparation of documents for state storage and their submission within the time limits established by the Regulations on the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- organizing the use of documents and, in accordance with the established procedure, providing the organization and citizens with certificates, extracts and copies of documents;
- When considering an organization, regulatory and methodological documents (instructions, recommendations, regulations, retention periods, a list of documents, etc.) are used in the development of archival and administrative documents.
